DAVID KWONG

Puzzles and magic might not seem like the most logical companions, but Kwong sees a clear parallel between the two. As human beings, he argues, we are driven by the urge to solve problems and “create order out of chaos.” In May 2017, HarperCollins will release Spellbound: Master the Seven Principles of Illusion to Gain Influence, Captivate Audiences, and Unlock the Secrets of Success, his first book: a guide to bridging the gap between perception and reality to increase our powers of persuasion and influence. A veteran “cruciverbalist” (crossword puzzle constructor), Kwong routinely creates puzzles for The New York TimesLos Angeles Times, and other national publications.

DJ MARTIN D'ARCE

It’s been said that the backbone of a party is the DJ. If that statement rings true, then Dr. D’Arce is perhaps connected to every bone in the body of nightlife – not only through his deejaying, but through his alternate occupation as a chiropractor.

For years, Dr. D’Arce has made it his mission to rock parties, corporate events, and neighborhood festivities.
…and he’s just getting warmed up.
